Scrap Bag Give Away...

Ok, so in cleaning out my studio I found this big bag full of cotton scraps (some new- some vintage) I've accumulated from the last 4 quilts I've made. I've saved these thinking of all the fun little projects which could come from these goodies, but I just need to clean everything out- So, I'll be happy to give this away to one lucky commenter. I'll randomly select a winner on Sunday!

And the Winner is...... Christina!!!!:

Drooool, the pink with the dolls, the spots, the stripes, the flowers. Oh dear, oh dear, how I would love to rummage through that bag of scraps each time I am choosing fabric for a project. :)

Thanks everyone! and thanks to random.org for the random selection.

  12. what cute photos...and a great idea....I love adopting quilt scraps, it's nice to have a little bit of this and that to work with and it keeps the projects fresh when you have smaller pieces...instead of seeing the bits in ten different things...I run a zero waste workroom and I'm accumulating bags as well....perhaps it's time for them to find a new and useful home.
Besides I need to make room in case these are heading my way :)

  21. Hi Jennifer,
My passion for sewing and designing started at age 5 and I haven't put down my needle since. A happy day is when a little bear, bunny or one of their little buddies is finally finished and sitting on my worktable. I suspect you feel the same way!!! I would love to win your divine treasure of scraps....I promise to put them to good use and make you proud.....
    Always a fan, Gwen

  23. i've been teaching my little boy jasper about sewing. and embroidery. i so badly wanted to have a little girl....didn't...and have now set about teaching my sweet boy all of the things i had dreamed of teaching a daughter. tea parties, thrift store shopping, baking. but also soccer and dressing up as monsters. it is truly delightful to see a young persons creativity take shape. hobby knows no gender. i'd love to give him a bag of vintage scraps and see what he comes up with.

  36. If I bring one more fabric scrap into my house, my husband will probably run away crying . . . and since he's such a great guy, I'd better not request even a smidge -- although it would be a great keepsake in my journal. Sigh! (I've been your fan for years! Maybe one tiny piece?) Oh, and Happy Birthday too!
