wow - do you dye the fabric once the animal is made?
i thought, perhaps, you dyed the fabric than you cut and sewed ( i do not sew, what do i know) - but the kittens strung up - gave me a fright, and then made me think - what comes first?
Hey Lisa, I do dye the fabric before the animals are made, but sometimes I do a little over dying to age them a bit. They don't get too wet but sometimes they need a moment in the sun...
That made me giggle.

I hope, I hope, I hope I'm quick enough to get one of your black kitties. They are the cutest thing you make besides the squirrels.
ReplyDeleteI look at the squirrel you made me daily. It sits proudly on a small pink cake stand (not a fall color but very me).
