I'm only making a handful this year for a few lucky bears and in the case mice- but remember all of these (hard to believe that was just a year ago- how time flies). Happily I don't have to go out and find any tops as I still have quite a collection from from last fall. I gathered a ton here in Minneapolis but lucky for me many people brought their local varieties from all over the US for me at Silver Bella last year when I taught a workshop with acorn tops on the supply list. It's amazing how many different kinds there are- I'll have post a photo, they're quite amazing. ok- maybe tomorrow... for now, I'm back to work.
Love the acorns!!
