While driving to the Post Office this morning to ship out this little spring kitty for one lucky lady's Easter Basket, I heard on the radio that this is the first March without snow in Minneapolis since 1870. Happy 2010! Wow, so this is what the rest of the country lives like. I think I could get used to this. Hope you're all enjoying the signs of spring where you are. I have tulips, daffodils, and primroses in my yard all green and showing signs of blooming in the near future. What's happening in your yard?
The kitty is adorable! Who says Easter is just about bunnies? Wow, that is some record to be broken! The daffodils in my yard are already spent here in southside Virginia. All of the flowering ornamental fruit trees are in full bloom. Absolutely beautiful! Azaleas and dogwoods are budded and getting ready to put on their springtime performance. Spring is the prettiest season in our part of the country.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family a beautiful, blessed Easter . . . He is risen indeed!
sweet kitty.
ReplyDeletei'm waiting on my daffodils, lily of the valley, peach apple and cherry blossoms and bleeding heart.
The little kitty is adorable. We have daffodils blooming all over town. I just love this time of year when the gardens start showing beautiful colors of spring. The Skagit County tulip festival starts this week. There are fields and fields of tulips and daffodils. You can see them for miles around.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you and your family too.

oh we had a lovely time last week flowers blooming a few early spring lambs.......
ReplyDeletebut now it's miserable it's snowing (again), the buds from the flowers fell off and I'm quite sure the poor ittle lambs have frost bite!
p.s love the cat
Love the kitty; she looks like Spring. Thanks for sharing her! Here in North Texas we had our 6th snow of the Winter in March (rarely do we have more than one dusting of snow per winter). Today it is in the 80's. I mowed the lawn for the first time yesterday; it was about a week overdue. The daffodils and tulips are about gone, but the redbuds, bluebonnets, violets, Lady Banksia roses and fruit trees are in full bloom.
ReplyDeleteThe desert is just coming into bloom and it is awesome .The smell of orange and lemon blossoms is rich in the air!!!
