lots of projects in the works...

I've been doing a bit of planning over the last two days and before I got back to work I decided to sit down for an hour and make something totally new and unwork related- just to get my hands working again and to breath a little fresh air into my practice....

I found this beautiful vintage cotton velveteen and I quickly whipped up this simple Elephant for Claude. I put two rattles in it, added a little pompom on the tail, and used a few bits of mohair and wool felt to add textural interest... When Claude woke up from his nap this afternoon I handed it over to him- I think he's very pleased.
